The personal information we collect may include names, organizations, phone numbers, mailing addresses, and email addresses. We do not usually seek to collect your sensitive personal information.
B. Information Automatically Collected
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, navigate, or use the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
To improve the quality of the Services, we may track information provided to us by your browser or other software applications when you view or use our Services. We track this information using cookies, or small text files which include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to a user’s browser from our Services and are stored on the user’s computer hard drive. Sending a cookie to a user’s browser enables us to collect non-personal information about that user and keep a record of the user’s preferences when utilizing our Services, both on an individual and aggregate basis.
C. Information Collected from Data Brokers
We may also collect similar personal information about you from data brokers in connection with our Services or marketing activities.
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services as well as to communicate with you, improve security and prevent fraud, and comply with applicable laws. We may also process your information for other purposes with your express consent. We may process your information when necessary to save or protect an individual’s vital interest, such as to prevent harm.
3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
We process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e., legal basis) to do so under applicable law, such as when you have provided your consent, or to comply with laws, provide you with Services, enter into or fulfill our contractual obligations, protect your rights, or fulfill our legitimate business interests. We may also process your information where we believe it is necessary to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of a third party, such as situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person.
4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Notice, we do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information. We do share personal information with our data analytics providers and our various vendors who are performing services for the Company, such as our accounting software vendors, database vendors, information technology vendors, and other service providers and vendors.
Personal information may also be disclosed to law enforcement, regulatory or other government agencies, or to other third parties, in each case to comply with legal, regulatory, or national security obligations or requests.
In addition, we may need to share your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
5. HOW DO WE RESPOND TO CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES?
Many web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
7. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.
Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
